What age are your products suitable for?
Our products are suitable for children over 3 years old.
What are the products made of?
We use magnets which are completely concealed, premium timber and finish our products with non-toxic paints and lacquers ensuring the highest quality and standards.
The tiles contain magnets – that worries me! Are they safe?
Our products are laboratory tested to comply with safety standards AS/NZS ISO 8124, EN71 & ASTM F963-17.
We are parents too, so safety is absolutely paramount for us. We have designed the range to ensure the magnets are completely concealed.
Is there variation in the timber?
As timber is a natural material, each board, tile and stand has its own unique appearance with variation in character, colour and grain pattern. We like to think of them as beautiful imperfections (just like real people have!)
Where are the products made?
Our products are all designed in Brisbane, Australia.
They are ethically manufactured in Vietnam, with our factory selection being one that met our criteria of having the highest standards for the well-being, health and safety of their employees, a team that took pride in their craftsmanship and delivered exceptional quality goods with a strong sustainable focus.
How do I care for my magnetic timber products?
We have kids so understand that our products need to be robust.
Our magnetic timber range is all sealed with a clear coating, so can be cleaned with a slightly damp soft cloth then wiped dry. Avoid using excess moisture or cleaning products though!
Keep timber out of direct sunlight to avoid discolouration.
Are there additional picture tiles available?
Yes! There are hundreds of designs currently, and may more in development.
We’ve made them into handy sets for different categories in different sized packs.
Are the magnetic tiles double sided?
We have tried to make our picture tiles as versatile as possible, so some tiles have a dual purpose. For example, school on one side and kindy on the other. Or two grandparents on one side, and a single grandparent on the other.
Our routine and responsibilities sets all come with a star on the back, to help children recognise the tasks have been completed.
Can I choose my own tiles?
Unfortunately, the tiles come in pre-determined packs. Whilst we have tried to be as comprehensive as possible (and spent many months researching the perfect combinations!), we know every family is different with their own individual needs.
We have however set up a community where people can buy, swap & sell tiles with other families, so none go to waste. You can find the Second Scout Tile Traders group here.
Do you offer blank tiles?
We sure do. You can check them out here.
Do you do custom orders?
Not at the moment, however you can request something be added to one of our future ranges by getting in touch with us here.
What if my child doesn’t recognise the icon?
Choosing icons/pictures can often be super tricky, especially for some of the more unique tiles we have in our range. Whilst we have market tested on many groups of children, we know that some pictures might take a little while to ‘click’
In our experience though, once children are told what the tile represents, they are able to connect and understand very quickly.
How many children is Little Agenda suitable for?
Little Agenda is designed to accommodate 1 – 2 children. The reason we didn’t make it any bigger, as we didn’t want to cause overwhelm for our little ones. We found the sweet spot between practicality and what the experts told us!
How many tiles can fit on Little Agenda?
Little Agenda can hold approx 8 tiles per day, 56 for the week. The blank side can hold over 80 tiles.
Can Little Agenda be wall mounted? Or what about directly onto the fridge?
Little Agenda can be wall mounted by using 3M mounting strips.
The board itself can’t magnetise to the fridge, but we’ve created a super handy Fridge Kit that is designed for just that!
How many tiles can fit on the Routine Helper?
The Routine Helper holds 20 tiles, 10 on each side.
Can I receive NDIS funding?
Yes! Many of our stockists are registered NDIS providers. You can find our stockists listed on our website.

ADHESIVE VINYL LABELS
What are the labels made from?
Our adhesive vinyl labels are made from premium grade, clear vinyl which allows for semi-permanent fixing. That means they can be removed if you choose, but won’t keep their integrity to be reused somewhere else.
What kinds of materials can I adhere my labels to?
Our labels can be applied to smooth and flat surfaces such as plastic, glass, mirrors, tiles & laminate. Textured and rough surfaces such as fabric and raw timber don’t adhere that well.
How do I apply my labels?
- Thoroughly clean your surface and ensure it’s dry before application.
- Peel away the required label from the sheet gently at an angle (starting from a corner).
- Being careful not to touch the back of the label, position it where you’d like it to go, and press down, again from a corner, smoothing over it with your thumb to ensure there are no bubbles. Bubbles are good for parties. Not for labels. Rub over the label thoroughly with a smooth flat object such as a plastic ruler or credit card.
- Voilà! You’re done (how clever are you?!). Make sure you wait 24 hours before these guys get wet!
